Escudo I is outstanding in type and expression, is well-muscled and has excellent gaits. So far, Escudo I has produced convincing crops of foals, including several winning foals at regional foal shows and the top price foal of the Verden Spring Auction in 1998.

But he also has proven to be an important sire of jumping horses. Because of these successes, Lanthan was for many years placed first in the overall breed values of the National Equestrian Federation (FN). Over his breeding career Lanthan has produced many successful performance horses as well as 15 licensed sons and 65 state's premium mares. His offspring are mostly beautiful horses with elastic movements and a great rideability. They are known for being typy, with good interior attributes and above average rideability. He has sired many conformation champions in Germany and his daughters and their descendants are noted broodmares. The high percentage of Thoroughbred blood in his pedigree makes him a valuable performance and refinement sire. In 1999 Lanthan was the stallion with the highest breeding value in his age-group.

Gibraleon, is Esperanza's dam sire. Gibraleon establish himself firmly in the Hanoverian breed by way of exceedingly noble horses of excellent type. Gibraleon's dam, Top of Tower was herself a good show jumper and derives from the 1981 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test winner and DLG stallion Titus. The supreme transmitter of type, Absatz appears in the third generation. His progeny were choice dressage show jumping horses. Gibraleon had a number of placements in conformation classes in 1993 and absolved the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf as sixth out of 53 contenders in performance class I, receiving a points score of 9.0 or for all criteria concerned with show jumping. Gibraleon has thus far been successful in show jumper competitions up to and including intermediate class. In 1995 he was champion Hanoverian five year old show jumper at the Dobrock, whilest in 1996 he was placed third in the Hanoverian six year old show jumping championships. He was a federal championship contestant in both years, receiving a high placement in 1996. In 1997 and 1998 he first started at advanced class and here too almost instantaneously had wins and high placements.

Gibraneon’s first batch of foals resulted in a group winner in the two year old class at the Lilienthal Mare Show. He has moreover presented three state premium mares to date. In addition, he also presented a number of entries at the Verden elite foal auctions. In 1997 he presented the winning foal of the Ahlden foal show.
